
Enhanced Security for Credit Card Access: My Card Info Login Discontinued
To better protect our members from fraud, MVFCU has made a security update regarding credit card access.
Recently, we saw an increase in fraudulent activity related to members logging in directly to their credit card account via My Card Info. Unlike online banking, My Card Info did not require two-factor authentication (2FA), making it more vulnerable to unauthorized access.
What’s Changing?
The ability to log in directly to My Card Info is no longer available. Instead, members must now access their credit card information through MVFCU’s Online Banking, which offers the added protection of two-factor authentication.
Why This Matters
The majority of our members were already using online banking to view their credit card details. By ensuring all members access their accounts through online banking, we’re adding an extra layer of security to reduce fraud risks.
What Do You Need to Do?
If you previously used My Card Info to access your credit card details, simply log in through Online Banking instead. If you haven’t enrolled yet, you can sign up here.
